A Doctor’s Fight

Dr. Natalie Valdez went through chemotherapy, raised her child by herself and still managed to work as an anesthesiologist at North Florida Regional Medical Center when diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009.

Against the Odds

Kristina Campbell was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. She was received radiation treatment at the Cancer Center at North Florida Regional Medical Center.

One-woman show portrays life of actress Vivien Leigh

Soap opera actress Judith Chapman will star in Rick Foster’s “Vivien,” a one-woman show about the “Gone With the Wind” actress.  Chapman said the play, which celebrates Vivien Leigh’s centennial birthday, showcases the brilliance, beauty and damaged soul of Leigh. The play will be in the Fine Arts Hall, Santa Fe College, 3000 NW 83rd St. on Sept, 14, 2013.
